Who is this for?

All those responsible for Safeguarding and Prevent in Further Education and Training Sector. You may be a Safeguarding Lead or Officer or someone who has this responsibility as part of their role. You may also be a senior manager, trustee, governor or director who has a lead for Safeguarding.

Training aim

The aim of this course is:

  • To provide a dedicated and interactive space to discuss, explore and network themes in Safeguarding and Prevent. You will have the opportunity to listen to top speakers and contribute to ongoing sector-wide debates.
  • To gain the knowledge and skills on which to develop your Safeguarding practice.

Outcomes

To create a community of peers and sector-based professionals, which together improve sector-wide knowledge and performance in Safeguarding and Prevent.

Entry Requirements

Safeguarding and/or Prevent must be your main role i.e. Designated Safeguarding Lead, Deputy Safeguarding Lead, Safeguarding Officer or Lead for the organisation.
