As more and more learners are learning both on and offline the protection of them in the online environment is just as important as the offline. All settings need to plan their approach regardless of their context.

Who is this for?
This training is designed for those who are responsible for digital safeguarding in their setting. It applies to all settings - work based learning, community settings, FE colleges and independent training providers.
The training aim is to increase your awareness and knowledge in effective approaches in mitigating online harm and risks, and how to develop a best practice risk mitigation approach.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- identify an effective approach to mitigating online harms and risks
- develop a risk mitigation approach to online harms and risks
- ensure that your organisation develops its approach to mitigating online harms and risks.
This course is hosted on Future Learn and can be completed independently over the course of two weeks.
