Who is this for?

This training is designed for those who are responsible for digital safeguarding in their setting. It applies to all settings - work based learning, community settings, FE colleges and independent training providers.

Training aim

The training aim is to increase your awareness and knowledge in effective approaches in mitigating online harm and risks, and how to develop a best practice risk mitigation approach. 

Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to: 

  • identify an effective approach to mitigating online harms and risks
  • develop a risk mitigation approach to online harms and risks 
  • ensure that your organisation develops its approach to mitigating online harms and risks.

Length

This course is hosted on Future Learn and can be completed independently over the course of two weeks.
