Working with learners and staff presenting with generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) (Code: C1273)

James Summerhayes will lead you through his experience of addressing GAD within your organisation and how in doing so, using CBT and DBT strategies he has managed to support learners to successful outcomes.  The provider environment is often the source of much of the worry.  James will introduce the technique of carrying out graded exposure of learners to situations and helping them with more positive thinking patterns. By supporting more balanced lifestyle choices and habits can assist in turning around thoughts and feelings which exacerbate the condition.
