Wellbeing@Weston (Code: C1325)

Weston College have just launched its latest strategy Wellbeing@Weston setting out our approach to enhancing and developing an inclusive and caring environment at Weston College. We want our staff and learners to feel supported and able to reach their potential. It has been designed with collective ownership across the whole organisation. By taking a whole organisation approach we will work collectively to promote an informed and inclusive culture, that enables our learners and staff to flourish and ensures an appreciation that mental health and wellbeing is central to all we do.

Training aim

To share how the Centre for Excellence in SEND at Weston College is approaching improving the mental health, wellbeing and resilience of our learners and staff. 

Outcomes

Following participation in this event you will have:

  • learned about our approach to mental health and wellbeing of our entire college community
  • gained ideas which your setting could use 
  • understand how poor mental health can adversely affect learners and staff and limit their potential
  • learned how Weston College are empowering our learners and staff to be pro-active to promote and support good mental health and wellbeing
