Practitioner Research Sharing Event (Code: C1408)

These online twilight sessions (taking place from 3:30 to 5:00pm) are designed to provide insights into effective practitioner research from those with experience and expertise in the field.

Speakers including Sam Jones of RandO and the Research College Group, Claire Collins and Dr Vicky Butterby of Claire Collins Consultancy and CfEM (Centres for Excellence in Maths) practitioner Liz Hopker of Newham College will be discussing practitioner research processes and practices.

Who is this for?

Teachers, trainers, those working in FE interested in practitioner research and the impact it could have on their organisation.

Outcomes

Session 1: Research processes and practices

Monday 11 July 2022 - 3:30 to 5:00pm

By the end of the session you will have the knowledge and confidence to:  

1. Undertake the next steps in your practitioner research with greater robustness 

2. Engage colleagues and managers in aspects of your research to enable increased impact   

 

Session 2: Inspiring examples of practitioner research

Wednesday 13 July 2022 - 3:30 to 5:00pm

By the end of the session you will have the knowledge and confidence to: 

1. Implement relevant research findings from FE practitioners in your own setting   

2. Revise research designs based on the experience of others  

3. Effectively share your own research findings

Each session is 1.5 hours long.
