Future Apprenticeships

There are a new, more senior employees within many levy paying employers, many of whom have little experience of in-work training, that providers need to engage with if the programmes that they deliver are to be effective. This workshop includes case studies from providers working with levy paying employers as well as input from employers on what they are looking for.

This is a subsidised rate for providers that receive funding from the ESFA. For providers not receiving funding the full cost is £300

Who is this course for?

This support is primarily for the Business Development role within your further education college or larger independent training provider

Training aim

This workshop will support you through the crucial stages of large employer engagement, whether you are due to start delivery of the new standards or need to consider the implications for your future planning, 


You will have the knowledge and confidence to understand:

  • initial engagement
  • the key components of effective Organisational Needs Analysis
  • the different key elements to effective partner management
  • the complex range of relationships required to work effectively with large employers.

One day workshop (10.00 - 16.00)

Entry Requirements

Your organisation should be delivering apprenticeship frameworks and standards and be on RoATP.

You should have a role that encompasses Business Development.
