T Levels: Employer-led Information, Advice and Guidance workshop for the Digital sector (*session 1 of 2)

This two-hour employer-led session will provide an update on key developments within the Digital Sector. This workshop will be delivered by practitioners from Microsoft, a company at the centre of revolutionary changes in technology. Participants will gain an understanding of the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to progress into skilled employment, and the challenges faced by the sector in order to better inform students when offering careers information, advice and guidance.

Who is this for?

The session is designed for all staff involved in T Level delivery; this includes course leaders, lecturers, trainers, teachers, assessors, curriculum planners and managers.

*Please note this session is part 1 of 2 workshops on the 28th November at the Grimsby Institute. Attendees are advised to also book the Practice and Development session at 1:00-3:00pm (lunch is included when attending both sessions).


By the end of this session you will better understand:

1.The role of Microsoft within the Digital sector

2. The challenges faced by employers within the Digital sector

3. Employment and progression opportunities that exist within the Digital sector

4. The skills, knowledge and behaviours required by employees in the Digital sector.
