This session will focus on workforce transformation, values-based recruitment and emerging roles within the Healthcare sector. It will be delivered by senior representatives from East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, a leading employer within the region with over 8,000 staff, some of whom are award-winning and internationally renowned for their achievements. Participants will gain an understanding of the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to progress into skilled employment.

Who is this for?

The session is designed for all staff involved in T Level delivery; this includes course leaders, lecturers, trainers, teachers, assessors, curriculum planners and managers and is relevant to the Health and Science and Digital T level routes.

*Please note this session is part 1 of 2 workshops on the 28 February with East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. Attendees are advised to also book the Practice and Development session from 1:15pm-4:00pm.


By the end of this session you will better understand:

  1. The role of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust within the Healthcare sector
  2. The challenges faced by employers in the Healthcare sector; workforce transformation and values-based recruitment
  3. Future employment and progression opportunities that exist within the Healthcare sector
  4. The knowledge, skills and behaviours required by employees in the Healthcare sector; new roles within Healthcare Sciences and the Nursing Workforce.
