Collaborative Training Days

The Collaborative Practice Development Day in Leicester is a new CPD opportunity providing a platform for practitioners to enhance their skills in teaching, learning and assessment via collaboration and networking. The first part of this interactive day includes a selection of workshops on key topics, hosted by practitioners. The second part is focused on a marketplace with providers from across the sector sharing effective practice on what has worked in their organisations and how.

  • reflect on and further develop your teaching practice using the Professional Standards for Teachers and Trainers
  • share effective practice with colleagues and learners.

Entry Requirements

As part of the event there will be a series of workshops and you will need to rank these is order of preference so that the event management team can ensure that as many 1st and 2nd preferences are assured as possible.

The workshops are: 

  1. Supporting learners in emotional distress and/or with mental health needs
  2. Skills competitions in teaching and learning 
  3. Safe guarding and Prevent
  4. Relationship building with employers
