T Levels: Middle Managers Thematic Webinars (Code: C0713)

The thematic webinars will enable you to share thoughts and experiences with other middle managers.

They will be in the form of a facilitated discussion led by our team who have been delivering face-to-face training. The content will be driven largely by participants, with each webinar focused on a particular theme.

Who is this for?

These webinars are primarily aimed at middle managers as well as those who will have a role in the management of the planning and implementation of T Levels.

People who have already attended one of the training events or in-house training sessions for middle managers will be able to further discuss elements which were introduced in the training.

You are also welcome to join if you have not yet attended face-to-face training and are interested in the theme of the webinar.

You can join as many of the webinars as you wish.

Training aim

The content will be driven largely by participants, with each webinar focused on a theme, including:

  • Leadership practice for T Levels
  • Designing a curriculum for T Levels
  • T Level stakeholder strategy and analysis
  • Leading curriculum change for T Levels
  • Strategic thinking for T Levels
  • Engaging employers for T levels
  • Powerful knowledge and T Levels.

If you are interested in attending a webinar around a theme that is not currently listed here, please let us know by emailing managersTLPD@alphaplus.co.uk. You can also contact us on this email if you are interested in in-house training on these themes.

We will share key thinking points with you before each webinar so you have a chance to consider them before the discussion. We will share a text summary of the discussion after the webinar, along with relevant links to further information and support.

Outcomes

You will have the knowledge and confidence to:

  • Reflect on your understanding of the discussion theme
  • Share experiences with other participants
  • Use knowledge from the discussion to inform planning and implementation for T Levels
  • Identify areas for further support and development.

Length

Approximately 30-40 minutes.

Webinars will be interactive and the number of attendees limited to allow everyone to take a full part in the discussion. Because of this, we would ask that each person registers and logs in to the webinar as an individual rather than as part of a group so we can facilitate the discussion effectively.

Staff in organisations participating in Teacher Regional Improvement Projects (TRIPs) can access remission funding to attend this webinar - more information is available in the Remission Funding FAQ document (pdf).

Entry Requirements

The webinar is primarily aimed at people who have attended a face-to-face training event, whether it is one of the national training events, in-house training or CPD delivered as part of another event. You are also very welcome to join if you have not yet participated in training, but have been considering how to manage the implementation of T Levels in your organisation.
