Improving your inclusive curriculum: reviewing your provision for learners with SEND. (Code: C0822)

Join us and Anita Devi, from #TeamADL, to take part in this blended learning, accredited training session. Anita has developed this provision review process based on a theory of change informed by sound research methodology.

You will be provided with materials prior to the session.

On completion of six hours of blended learning, you will be a qualified Appreciative Inquirer.

Who is this for?

Curriculum and quality managers. (teachers, SENCOs, support staff and anyone else working with learners (with SEND) in the post-16 sector will benefit from this easy to use review tool)

Training aim

Participants will gain understanding about how to develop a curriculum which really meets the needs of your learners..  An appreciative Inquiry approach promotes powerful action research, reflecting on personal, professional and organisational practice. The approach relies on all stakeholders having a voice in order to ensure curriculum is co-created and co-designed.

Outcomes

You will be able to use this framework to conduct a setting-wide review. Our focus is your inclusive curriculum offer for learners with SEND. 

However, the AI process can be used in a variety of settings and organisations to inform improvements.
