Join us and Ellen Atkinson, Regional Advisor for Preparation for Adulthood (PfA) at the National Development Team for Inclusion, for the first in our series of Employability Curriculum focused webinars and workshops. We will look at data around employability and its positive impact on life chances. We will outline the development of the PfA agenda. We will discuss  strategic curriculum intent, implementing changes and developing robust employability pathways.

Who is this for?

Curriculum leaders and managers, teachers, SENCOs, support staff and anyone else working with learners with inclusion needs (SEND) in the post 16 sector.

Training aim

During the training sessions we hope to support you to:

  • review your curriculum offer
  • identify strategic focus
  • identify potential developments to focus your curriculum business planning activities
  • develop responsive follow up sessions with you and share our progress over the coming year.

Intending to help you avoid the pitfalls we have found!

Outcomes

We will cover:

  • Developing an inclusive employability curriculum offer (to include study programmes, traineeships, supported internships, inclusive apprenticeships etc.)
  • Plan the next activities for us all.

Length

A series of one hour webinars and workshop follow up activities. (all events can be booked as independent activities)
