T Levels: Curriculum design and delivery networks (Code: C0853)
This series of practitioner-led networks will bring teaching staff and curriculum managers together to collectively discuss and develop curriculum delivery plans for T Levels being delivered in September 2020 and 2021. Networks will develop schemes of learning for the technical qualification, including ideas related to learning activities, delivery models, and formative assessment opportunities.
Who is this for?
These networks are suitable for staff delivering T Levels in September 2020 or 2021. These complement the range of support available from the wider TLPD offer.
The networks will further develop teaching practice through collaborative activities focused on T Level routes and subject-specific themes. Through networks and collaborative activities, you will be supported to:
- embed learning from the CPD delivered in the T Level Professional Development offer through regional networks and route and subject-specialist workshops. There will also be additional collaborative activities, where you will work closely with industry experts and professional bodies
- develop technical teaching practice for T Level delivery
- collaborate with peers through communities of practice.
You will have the knowledge and confidence to improve teaching practice in preparation for T Levels and ultimately ensure that learners undertaking T Levels develop the knowledge, skills, behaviours, and competencies required.
Networks and collaborative activities will normally be two hours, though could be up to four hours depending on the subject. You will receive a link to a Zoom meeting by email once you have booked your place.
Through booking a place at a network, you consent to sharing your data with the Department for Education. Please see the TLPD Privacy Notice for further details.
