This is a one-day, face-to-face session and is the first step in a four-part programme supporting the teaching of core English, maths and digital (EMD) skills, which are embedded in each T Level route and pathway. The session explores what is meant by developing embedded EMD and the requirements for T Levels. Participants will consider their role and develop action plans to support the development of embedded EMD, before moving on to select from three specialist e-learning modules.

This employer-led session will focus on key updates within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. It will be delivered by Andrew Starr who has worked in CAMHS for 20 years with a professional background in Social Work and Systemic therapy (family therapy). Participants will gain an understanding of the services available and the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to progress into skilled employment in the sector.

This two hour practical session provided by Andrew Starr from the CAMHS Professional Advisory Service will explore how to work in partnership to manage risk, overcome challenges and support young people who are waiting for referral. Participants will also discuss approaches to ethnicity, culture and religion in mental health services and gain an insight into current working practices ensuring that they, and subsequently their learners, have a clear line of sight to work.
