Bullet Tongue Reloaded by The Big House (Code: C1094)
Bullet Tongue Reloaded is a topical, hard-hitting, powerful and authentic show centred
around 'gang culture' and County Lines. Vulnerable children and young people who
face adverse childhood experiences, or are in care, are often purposely selected and
groomed into trafficking drugs by individuals and criminal organisations with the promise
of friendship, status and money. Covid 19 has increased the grip of gangs and the allure county lines.
Gangs play on their innate desire to belong. Suitable for people over 14 years old.
Communities of Practice: Mental Health and Wellbeing focus group (Code: C1032)
Responding to suggestions from the members we are offering a three-part focus group for mental health and wellbeing. This will provide a platform to support one another to learn and share in ideas, concerns, resources and best practice.
Spaces will be limited to 12 and the sessions will not be recorded to enable free discussion.

English: Speaking, listening and communicating (Code: C0873)
Drawing on lessons learnt from lockdown, this course focuses on developing learners' speech, language and communication (SpLC) skills for maths and English teaching and learning. There is also a specific focus on supporting SEND and neuro-diverse learners.
Everything you need to know about SEND funding for FE learners (Code: C0999)
Over two parts, this course will cover:
- The high needs funding system, including top tips relating to contracting, relationships with LAs, and budgeting.
- How other funding, e.g. disadvantage blocks or AEB, can be used to support SEND learners, including those with EHCPs.
- Current developments and directions of travel in relation to High Needs funding and contracting.
The course will be highly interactive, allowing delegates to share experiences and ask questions.
Everything you need to know about SEND funding for FE learners (Code: C0610)
Delivered by Clare Howard and David Lucas, this one-day workshop responds to requests from participants from our Essential SEND Managers' course. The workshop will explain how to use the various funding streams, provide an outline of how high needs funding, disadvantage blocks and the adult education budget can support learners with SEND including those with EHCPs. It will also provide top tips on contracting, relationships with LAs and direction of travel in high needs funding.
