Who is this for?

A virtual event aimed at employers in the creative arts industry who are keen to support young people with SEND into work. London South East Colleges has worked with employers for 25 years, raising awareness of the many benefits that learners with SEND can bring to a workforce. Our aim is to improve employer practice in recruiting employees with SEND - as well as increasing job opportunities for them. We want to see more learners with SEND being able to access and sustain employment. Meaningful employment can and should be achievable. We want to provide learners with SEND and their families with the confidence that they can access the job market - as well as demonstrating to employers the many benefits they can gain from recruiting in a more diverse way. By providing expert insight from SEND employers, learners and college experts, we hope to increase engagement and awareness - and ultimately improve life outcomes for people with SEND.
