This interactive course is designed to equip maths practitioners with the tools and strategies needed to increase motivation and engagement in maths. Participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of practical techniques and activities that can be integrated into their teaching practices to enhance learner participation and enthusiasm. Strategies for using technology to increase learner enagagement will also be explored.

Who is this for?

This course is for teachers and other practitioners delivering GCSE maths and Functional Skills maths in the Further Education and Skills sector. It may also be of interest to staff who are teaching T levels with a substantial mathematical component.

Training aim

This course will provide participants with the opportunity to consider needs of learners within planning and explore how create and use a range of activities to support learners in engaging with the subject.
