Training aim

The aim of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Programme is to support all FE leaders and managers to embed humanistic cultures within their organisations, addressing some of the emerging issues that are impacting students and staff.

These webinars are part of a wider set of resources. One blog and two resources will be published that relate to the first three webinar themes. These will be shared with delegates to encourage continued learning and reflection.

Outcomes

Webinar 1: FE leaders will reflect on the impact of poverty on mental health and wellbeing, sharing some of the ways they are supporting their workforce and students to address these challenges.

Webinar 2: FE leaders will put a spotlight on the mental health and wellbeing of marginalised and quieter voices within their education community, highlighting effective inclusive practice undertaken to ensure these voices are heard and responded to.

Webinar 3: Within a dispersed workforce and across rural further education communities, the challenge of disconnection and isolation will be acknowledged by FE leaders who are actively bridging the gaps and building connections to support the mental health and wellbeing of their workforce and students.
