Community of Practice: Preparing learners with SEND for adulthood (Code: C1640)
This community of practice brings together professionals working with learners with SEND from across the FE sector. Over the year, we will be facilitating a few themed discussions on a variety of different topics. Our first meeting will focus on baseline assessment. Possible topics for future discussions include transition, age-appropriate resources, and sex and relationships education. We will be relying on you to tell us what would be of most interest to you.
Who is this for?
Because our discussions are likely to be wide-ranging in nature, we anticipate that this community of practice will be of interest to people in a variety of different job roles - from SEND managers to curriculum leaders, transition managers and therapists to teaching and support staff .
