This workshop aims to empower leaders in adult education and Combined Authorities with the tools needed to shape a new sector based on the government's new "Tailored Learning" concept.

Subsidised Places

For Department for Education (DfE) funded courses there is a limited number of places offered to participants fully subsided.  The fully subsidised places are fully funded by the DfE, the participant and / or their provider pay £0. These places are offered to ensure greater diversity on high quality CPD. To qualify the participant must either:​

  • Consider themself to have a disability.​
  • Come from black or minority ethnic community.​
  • Work in an organisation with an annual turnover of less than £500,000.​

Who is this for?

This workshop offers a unique opportunity for leaders in Local Authorities, Mayoral Combined Authorities, and curriculum managers to exchange insights, knowledge, and experience. 

 

Training aim

Key Innovation Workshop Objectives:

  • Establish a platform for adult education leaders and curriculum managers to develop successful Tailored Learning programmes.
  • Emphasise key areas, including benefits to learners, coordination with existing systems, and understanding Ofsted expectations.
  • Address staff development needs for teachers and learning institutions to align with the new purposes of adult learning.
  • Explore a curriculum framework to support learning organisations in transitioning to the new Tailored-led system.

Outcomes

You will leave the workshop equipped with valuable knowledge, tools, and strategies to positively impact adult education in your organisation.

One workshop, in person in London on Friday 1 March, 10.30am to 3pm.
