Supporting Learners with Pathological Demand Avoidance (Code: C1754)

Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) is a complex profile of autism. The traditional approaches used for learners with autism do not work for learners with PDA and can be counterproductive. This masterclass with Laura Kerbey will give delegates a greater understanding of PDA, the impact PDA has on individuals and effective approaches to ensure that PDAers can meet their potential in the learning environment.
