Who is this for?

This unique module is aimed at middle leaders.  

 

Training aim

This module will be delivered by Kathryn James,  an experienced professional with a proven track record in leadership and management, specialising in fostering equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives. 

Kathryn will enable middle leaders to gain a better awareness of the equality, diversity and inclusion landscape, language and concepts. Participants will have an opportunity to explore and understand privilege and bias. Kathryn will introduce a leadership framework and explore actions that can be taken.

Delivery is energetic, motivating and participation actively encouraged.

Outcomes

  • To actively build on skills and knowledge, enhancing and extending knowledge and practice, informed by evidenced based practice and research.
  • Think about equity, diversity and inclusion as part of your leadership role.
  • Reflect on language and consider the concepts of privilege, bias, and anti-racism.

Length

This Live Online module will take place remotely via Zoom from 10am-1pm. There will be plenty of breaks, pauses to reflect and breakout room discussions.

During the session, participants will have an opportunity to discuss content, whilst forming new relationships and interactions with their peers.
