Following the series of webinars looking at employment pathways, NDTi will be running a one hour community of practice looking at young people voice and mental health.
This session will be co-delivered with a young person who will share their own experiences to support conversations, learning and understanding

Who is this for?
Anyone working in the Post 16 sector with an interest in SEND.
This community of practice is particularly designed for those who attended one of the original sessions on supporting employment pathways for learners with SEND which was facilitated by NDTi.
However, anyone who is interested in this topic is welcome to attend.
Training aim
Consider the importance of young people voice in planning and reviews and think about how their mental health and wellbeing impacts on their learning.
Outcomes
- Understand the importance of person centred practice when working with young people.
- Understand the importance of good mental health and wellbeing to support learning and acheiving positive outcomes for young people, and what participants might be able to do to support this.
- Consider what participants can do locally to ensure young people voice is fundamental to their practice.
