Building mathematical resilience in GCSE maths resit learners (Code: C1827)
Resilience-building strategies will be explored by exploring strategies from an affective approach in the first sessions and strategies from a cognitive approach in the secondary sessions. Mastery principles will underpin both approaches and links will be made between the affective and cognitive approaches.
Reflection will form a core part of the CPD sessions, and each session will begin with a reflection based on a task given in the previous session.
