Sam Slack, the Deptartment for Education's East Midlands HE/FE Regional Prevent Coordinator will explore what we actually mean by grooming and radicalisation.

Are they the same thing and should our responses be the same?
What is the relationship between grooming and extremism in modern society?
By tackling one does this impact on the other?

During the session, we will consider the impact of extremism and radicalisation on further education and what we should be doing to keep learners safe and our reputations intact.
