Course Summary

These two-day blended courses support English teachers in ACL contents, supporting entry level and ESOL learners, to reflect on/ make changes to their practice by using effective Assessment for Learning (AfL) approaches. The course links AfL to learner motivation, engagement and achievement and explores subject-specific, AfL approaches, pedagogy and resources. You will design tasks that enable learners and teachers to monitor, evaluate and review progress.
