Who is this for?

This course is suitable for curriculum leaders, teachers and tutors due to teach the Health and Science T Level .

Training aim

This introductory course will give you an overview of key considerations for leading and teaching the subjects within the Health and Science Route to get the best possible outcomes for your learners.

You will gain a clear understanding of the content of these T Levels in the context of the current workplace, technical education reform and sustainable development, as well as assessment requirements.

The course will also cover ways of engaging employers and wider stakeholder partners to fulfil T Level requirements and bring learning to life.

Outcomes

On this course, you will:

  • Identify the essential considerations for leading and teaching the subjects within the Health and Science route
  • Investigate the context and content of the Health and Science T Level and their relevance to industry, technical education reform and sustainable growth
  • Explore the key differences in structure and content between Level 3 qualifications and the implications for dual professionals in developing learners' knowledge, skills and behaviours for assessment, the workplace and T Level success
  • Explore ways of engaging employers and wider stakeholder partners to bring learning to life

6 hours - usually 9.30am-4.30pm (including breaks)
