Subsidised Places

For Department for Education (DfE) funded courses there is a limited number of places offered to participants fully subsided.  The fully subsidised places are fully funded by the DfE, the participant and / or their provider pay £0. These places are offered to ensure greater diversity on high quality CPD. To qualify the participant must either:​

Who is this for?

Finance managers and deputy finance directors in the Further Education sector.

Training aim

The Finance Leaders and Managers programme has been specifically designed by ICAEW in collaboration with the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) to support all FE managers and deputy directors with the skills and knowledge needed to drive team performance and influence the broader business.

Outcomes

You will have the knowledge and confidence to:

Drive team performance

  • Develop the ability to drive and motivate a high performing team
  • Learn to inspire your team through clear vision and strong communication
  • Recognise how to have greater impact in your communication - adapting your style for different audiences
  • Increase confidence when delivering feedback, and learn how to use it to drive improved performance
  • Use your personal strengths and development areas to influence team members effectively

Influence the broader business

  • Increase your effectiveness as a business partner to the wider business to improve decision making
  • Skilfully manage upwards
  • Learn to confidently offer commercial insights and opinion, not just data
  • Discover how to convert technical, complex presentations into simple, compelling messages

Two online cohorts that are 3 hours per week, over 3 weeks

As a Department for Education funded programme this is only available for finance professionals in Further Education providers in England.
