Trauma informed alternative classroom -engaging hard-to-reach young people - Onsite event (Code: C1546)

Butcombe Farm is set on a 40-acre site overlooking Blagdon Lake in the Mendip hills.  The farm specialises in growing chillies as well as market produce, and through agriculture, land-based studies and animal care offers the perfect environment and 'alternative classroom'.  Learners with challenging behaviours, complex attachment needs, SEMH, who may otherwise have been NEET, can engage with the trauma-informed environment, developing life skills through learner led, nature-based learning.
