This course is for Functional Skills maths teachers delivering to adults
Training aim
This course will prepare teachers for the delivery of the 15-week Mastery Multiply intervention
Outcomes
By the end of the sessions – participants will:

Have knowledge and understanding of the five key principles for Mastery maths and be able to apply them to their teaching

Teaching that allows learners to develop an understanding of mathematical structure

Valuing and building on learners’ prior learning

Prioritising curriculum coherence and connections

Developing both fluency and undersatdning of key ideas

Developing a culture in which everyone believes everyone can succeed

Plan for their own delivery of the intervention lessons
Length
4 x 2.5 online modules - a total of 10 hours.
Entry Requirements
Providers must be signed up for the Multiply trials and teachers must be delivering Functional Skulls Maths Level 1 course to adults.
