There are half a million learners in FE who have self-declared a learning difficulty or disability. Around 21% of 16-19-year-olds are in this category. This webinar focuses on teaching and learning for SEND learners in the mathematics classroom. We will introduce some of the barriers to learning mathematics that can be due to identified needs and offer suggestions for initial assessment and appropriate teaching.
