Apprentice (workplace) supervisors do not need to consider themselves as maths or English experts, or indeed, be particularly confident in these areas themselves in order to provide effective, advice, guidance and support. The key to this is simply 'knowing your apprentice' and having effective procedures for liaising with the provider (e.g. teacher, trainer or assessor). This seminar will offer some principles of securing employer support.
